Vigno Carignan 2012 by Gillmore
After decades of anonymity, today the Carignan-based from the dry-farmed areas of the Maule valley not only receive the highest scores from international critics but for the first time allow us to speak of territorial identity through a group that represents the past and future of Chilean winemaking.
Happy to be part of the foundation of this amazing collective brand and congrats to the 16 wineries that share the goal of preserving Maule’s winegrowing heritage.
Follow @vignadoresdecarignan and meet the main characters of this story. In the meanwhile, I leave you this fantastic interpretation of Vigno by Gillmore Estate, born from old bushes of Carignan in Loncomilla’s area, full of violets and cherries, full of character.
